John Bartrum field map of the Hokianga area.

Scope and Contents

A detailed map of the Hokianga area with handwritten annotations relating to the geology of the area. The annotations which include references to geological samples noted as being in the 'AUC' (Auckland University College) geology collection appear to be in John Bartrum's handwriting. The 1220mm wide map is made up a mosaic of large scale topographical maps printed on paper and glued onto a linen backing. The map has wooden rails top and bottom.
