Miscellaneous notes from end portion of expanding file. Includes copy of introduction/speech given by Huntsman to the inhabitant of Nukunonu at the commencement of her field work., 1967 - 1968
Scope and Contents
These folders of material come from an expanding file compiled by Huntsman in the field by removing pages from her spiral bound field notebooks and arranging them by subject. Huntsman undertook this task as part of her work on her PhD thesis.
As part of the processing of this collection the contents of each labelled compartment in the expanding file were removed and placed in a separate folder. Within each compartment groups of notebook pages had been placed in bundles held together with elastic bands many of which which had perished. These groups of notes have been retained and the elastic bands replaced with archive tape.
Some groups of notes have also been typed by Huntsman and can be found in her electronic records.
