Scope and Contents A recording survey of the music of Futuna was made in August and September 1990 by Takaroga Kauautoga, resident of Futuna and fieldworker of the Vanuatu Cultural Centre, and Allan Thomas, Lecturer in the School of Music, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Scope and Contents A survey conducted as part of a 'Territorial Survey of Oceanic Music' funded jointly by UNESCO, The Institute of Polynesian Studies in Hawai'i, and the University of Auckland.
