The collection is comprised of audio recordings made by Wendy Pond and Garth Rogers during their research in Tonga and New Zealand. A number of recordings were made in collaboration with Tupou Posesi Fanua, Sete Selui, Paula 'Afe Havea, Paulo Faka'osi, Kitione Mamata, and includes additional recordings made by Tupou Posesi Fanua and Larry V.
