The envelope bears the postmark "Suva 4 Jun 08" and is inscribed "Union Group Papers." Agreement signed at Nuku'alofa on the 14 March, 1899, by H.M. King George Tubou II of Tonga and by Captain L.C. Stuart R.N., commanding H.M.S. "Tauranga", and R.B. Leefe, Deputy Commissioner and Vice Consul, on behalf of H.M.
