Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

A great quantity of the material listed here was found in loose sheets in boxes, interspersed with some material in roughly labelled folders, often reused envelopes torn down three sides. It was difficult to categorise the material and so it has been arranged as far as possible in chronological order. Where material was in ‘folders’ these have been retained as they were found.

The files include research notes, clippings, copies of leaflets and pamphlets and sometimes correspondence. The bulk of the material is related to economic and finance related matters including wages, tax rates, the introduction of the goods and services tax and activities of large multi-national corporations. The material collected here clearly relates to the themes covered by McAra in his pamphlets and book, Laws of the New Zealand Revolution.
