Scope and Contents
Interviews with Jim Rolfe conducted by Sally Stainton 27 October 2004 and 1 November 2004. Rolfe talks about growing up in Putaruru, attending the Auckland Teachers' College immediately before the Second World War, the unsettling impact of the war, returning to teaching after being on active service, his teaching career and work as a School Inspector with responsibility for Special Education.
