Tom Brown, 2003
Interviews with Tom Brown conducted by Sally Stainton 11 and 13 August 2003. Brown reflects on his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1944-45. He taught in both rural and urban schools, later becoming a school principal. He became Founding President of the New Zealand Principal's Federation in 1982 and in 1985 was awarded the MBE for services to education.
