Ivan Whyle interview conducted by Louise Shaw September 2004. Whyle talks about his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1941 and part of 1943. He recalls his memories of Duncan Rae, College Principal, the lecturers, and the activities the college offered including the Christian Group to which he belonged. Whyle comments on his return as a staff member of the Post-Primary Department (later Secondary Teachers' College) in 1958 until retirement in 1983. Whyle also reflects the changes at the college and the education sector over this period.
