Collection contains material collected by Joris de Bres, Vice President of the Citizens Association for Racial Equality (CARE) relating to the Pacific Islands and to the Overstayers issue, 1974-1977 and Pacific Islanders' position in New Zealand during the 1970s. Includes newspapers clippings, subject files and some correspondence.

The collection consists of records of the Waiheke Branch of the New Zealand Labour Party, and includes minutes of meetings, correspondence, memoranda, financial papers, receipt books, membership cards and miscellaneous publications.
