An artificial collection which was gathered by Haiqing Lin, Asian Languages Librarian, it includes Imperial examination papers from the the Qing Dynasty, and other Chinese papers.

A collection of general election and local body election ephemera, primarily relating to the Auckland area, created by the New Zealand and Pacific Collection and Special Collections from the 1960s on.

The general election ephemera is being actively collected but the local body material ceased being collected in the 1990s.

Scope and Contents General ephemera collected by the New Zealand and Pacific Department of the Library, from the 1970s until the 1980s, where it formed part of the "New Zealand Vertical File" collection in the New Zealand and Pacific Collection. Some of this material appears to be discards or duplicates from trade union and political party archives; some of the Pacific tourist brochures were donated by Bert Roth following his collecting trips to the region in the 1960s and 1980. A formed collection of material related to the history of the University Library, additional to the earlier inventoried collection MSS & Archives E-10, and added to by transfers of material from library staff from time to time. Collection includes photographs and ephemera relating to University Library events and activities.
