Content Description This collection contains materials relating to trade union activities during the era of employment and labour legislation reforms enacted by the Labour and National governments of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Series one comprises trade union materials which were stored at the Trades Union Centre on Great North Road, Newton, Auckland. Scope and Contents

Collection comprises records from the Trade Union Education Authority (TUEA) Auckland regional office, including office administration files, seminars, teaching materials, publications and topic files. Nora Rameka, national TUEA Māori and Pacific co-ordinator, was based in the Auckland office and her records are organised as a separate series in the collection. Records were removed from Auckland office when it was closed in 1992.
