Trade union and employment relations collection
Content Description
This collection contains materials relating to trade union activities during the era of employment and labour legislation reforms enacted by the Labour and National governments of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Series one comprises trade union materials which were stored at the Trades Union Centre on Great North Road, Newton, Auckland. Series two contains various leaflets, pamphlets and publications relating to trade union activities and employment relations. Papers in this collection were surplus items after the processing of the Trade Union Education Authority records (MSS & Archives 2015/24) and Maryann Street trade union papers (MSS & Archives 2023/02) where the original provenance was difficult to ascertain.
