Scope and Contents The bulk of the files in this collection were donated to the Library by the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions, P.O. Box 6645, Wellington, in May 1996 (through Denise O’Reilly). They included minutes of meetings of the Auckland District Council, and of its Executive, from 1987 to 1993. A set of ‘loose minutes’ of the same body had been received from Mr Ken Johnson of the Nurses Union through Bert Roth in 1993. Scope and Contents

Collection comprises records from the Trade Union Education Authority (TUEA) Auckland regional office, including office administration files, seminars, teaching materials, publications and topic files. Nora Rameka, national TUEA Māori and Pacific co-ordinator, was based in the Auckland office and her records are organised as a separate series in the collection. Records were removed from Auckland office when it was closed in 1992.
