Scope and Contents The collection contains a manuscript version of part of an appendix to Parsons' PhD thesis Sickness experience and language: aspects of Tongan and Western accounting (University of Waikato, 1981). The manuscript consists of accounts of Tongan sicknesses and therapies, and a section on Tongan medicines by Tupou Posesi Fanua.
