Scope and Contents These papers were given to the Library in 1973/4 by Mr Gary Clover who was involved in anti-apartheid activities in Auckland between 1968 to 1974. These years saw protests in New Zealand against contact with South Africa in various sports, culminating in the banning of a Springbok rugby tour by the Labour Government under Norman Kirk in 1973.
