Edward Bartley reminiscences of early Auckland.
Early reminiscences of Auckland describing Bartley's arrival in 1854, and his work as a carpenter and the buildings he worked on. There are a few anecdotes about the New Zealand Wars, an account of the "eight hour" movement, and brief summaries of his involvement in technical education and the Auckland art scene.
