Scope and Contents This collection of records of the Hawke' Bay Division of the New Zealand Legion was donated to the Auckland University Library in 1969 by Mr Michael Pugh, who used it extensively in the writing of his MA thesis The New Zealand Legion and conservative protest in the Great Depression (1969).
