Collection contains field notebooks used by geologist Ernest Searle during the 1960s.
Originally this collection included three envelopes of photographs of Auckland volcanoes, however, these were transferred to MSS & Archives 2012/3: Photographs of volcanic features of the Auckland region, 1920s to 1950s in March 2012.
