From the Collection:

The collection comprises material collected by Phil Dadson during his involvement in the planning and administration of SoundCulture '99. It has been arranged into three series.

Series 1: 'Background material' contains items relating to three earlier festivals: SoundWatch '92 and SoundWatch '94 which were held in Auckland; and SoundCulture '96 which was held in San Francisco and included performances by Phil Dadson at New Langdon Arts.

Series 2: 'Administrative material' contains correspondence, minutes, budgets, calls for proposals, and other planning material, as well as festival ephemera, documentation, and related publications.

Series 3: 'Artist proposals' contains outlines of proposed artworks and supporting material submitted by artists wishing to participate in the festival.
