General gallery images

Image files were created of shows held at the Gallery as well as collected images of Artists' work. The Artist's Work file consists mostly of images which were submitted as part of the application process creating a reference resource for Gallery staff.

Most of the images donated with the collection are in the form of slides and transparencies. Slides relating to exhibitions held at the George Fraser Gallery have been sleeved in exhibition date order; slides of artist's work have been sleeved alphabetically by surname. The collection does contain some prints and transparencies but these are usually additional reproductions of slide conent.
