The Fine Arts Library collected printed art ephemera from the 1960s until the closure of the Library in early 2020.The collection focuses on New Zealand artists and galleries, as well as festivals, events and awards. Scope and Contents
This collection consists of a visual record of the shows held at the George Fraser Gallery from the late 1980s through to the early 2000s. It also contains files of artists' work; not all artists represented went on to exhibit at the Gallery, but the files were retained as part of the gallery records.
In addition to the images, the collection includes some examples of exhibition applications and published ephemera used to promote and supplement the shows.
