This collection represents the research material amassed by Leo King relating to Minnie Francis White (1891-1984), Robert Field Procter (1879-1984) and Betty Beadle (1924-2002).
Material includes reproductions of paintings and drawings, with information about the collections where the artworks are housed; correspondence between King and various art and cultural institutions; historical documentation, genealogical tables and press clippings.

General
Betty Beadle (nee Langwill, aka. Cutcher) (1924-2002), studied ceramics, painting, drawing and design at the Newcastle National Art School and later became involved with the Low Show Group in Newcastle, establishing a studio at Lake Macquire. In 1965, Beadle moved to New Zealand, joined the Society of Sculptors and Associates, New Zealand and married Paul Beadle, Professor and Dean of Fine Arts at the Elam School of Fine Arts. In 1988, Betty Beadle co-founded the New Zealand Contemporary Medallion Group (NZCMG) later renamed Medal Art New Zealand (MANZ) in 2004.
