From the Collection:
The collection consists of work diaries and financial records, as well as photographs of completed residential and commercial projects.
A significant portion of the collection relates to legal proceedings over the Grand Theatre building on Queen Street, Auckland. What began as arbitration over the signing off of work and monies charged grew into a full case heard before the High Court. It was well covered in the news media of the day, and continued into formal complaints and claims of slander and defamation.
