From the Collection:
This collection comprises one folder of drawings of the volcanoes of the Volcanic Plateau by Laurence Cussen and Thomas(Darby) Ryan. In total there are 12 drawings, 10 by Ryan and 2 by Cussen, most are ink washes. Accompanying the drawings are two mounted photographs. The collection was donated to the Geology Department by one of Cussen's daughters some time prior to 1962.The majority of the drawings are dated 1891 which is the year that Cussen presented the first...
