Interview with Emeritus Professor Warwick Elley conducted by Judy Baird July 2003. Emeritus Professor Elley talks about his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1949 and 1950. He also recalls his primary, secondary, and tertiary teaching experiences and being able to work in full-time research.

Interview with Meg Everton consucted by Joan Beagle 18 May 2003. Everton recalls her student days at the Auckland Teachers' Training College in 1938 and 1939. Meg talks about completing her university degree and teaching in New Zealand and overseas schools. There is also discussion of her 20 years at Ardmore Teachers' College.

Interview with Lindo Francis conducted by Richard Thompson 21 May 2001. Francis recalls being a third-year music student at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1958. She reflects on her music teaching and music advisor role, plus working as a staff member at Auckland College of Education from 1968 to 1995.

Interview with Kath Garvey conducted by Joan Beagle 3 February 2003. Garvey recalls her time as a student at Auckland Teachers' college in 1927 and 1928 and subsequent treaching career in Auckland schools until retirment in 1966.

Interview with Owen Gimore conducted by Judy Baird July 2004. Gilmore talks about his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1940 and 1941, his teaching experiences, and later his years as a member of staff and principal of the Secondary Teachers' College.

Interview with Jack (Bertram John) Green conducted by Judy Baird July 2000. Green talks about choosing teaching as a career, his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1936 and 1937, and his teaching experiences in both country and city schools.

Interview with Ian Hall conducted by Judy Baird March 2004. Hall recalls about his own schooling, his decision to apply for teaching and being a student at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1939 and 1940. He recounts his secondary school teaching and later, lecturering at North Shore Teachers' College from 1966 to 1979.

Interview with Maurice Hutchinson conducted by Judy Baird 5 September 2002. Hutchinson recalls his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1936 and 1937. He reflects on his teaching career being interupted by war service and subsequent post-war secondary teaching before joining the Teaching Inspectorate.

Interview with Lionel Izod conducted by Judy Baird 10 October 2005. Izod talks about his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1939 and 194 and then attending university and gruaduating in French and English. Izod recalls his years teaching French at Putaruru College, teaching English in France and then becoming head of English translation at UNESCO.

Self-recorded by Peter Kelly circa 1994. Kelly recalls teaching in a rural school during the 1930s depression and changes to education he observed in his role as Senior Inspector of Schools between 1964 and 1968.
