Interviews with Jill Amos conducted by Richard Thompson 19 September 2005 and 19 December 2005. Amos talks about her student days at Auckland College of Education in 1945 and 1946. She also recalls her experiences as a teacher and working as a school counsellor.

Interview with Phil Amos conducted by Richard Thompson 21 April 2006. Amos recalls his student days at Auckland Teachers' Training College in 1946 and 1947. He also talks about his teaching experiences and his days as Minister of Education in the 1970s.

Interview with Jack Archibald conducted by Judy Baird 10 April 2003. Archibald talks about his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1947-1948, his teaching experiences, and his later years as Principal of North Shore Teachers' College, 1977-1982 and Auckland College of Education, 1982-1989.

Self-recorded recollections by Bill Barris July 2003. Barris recalls his days as a student at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1940 and 1941. He goes on to talk about his teaching experiences and becoming a school principal.

Interview with Helen Bremner (née Shirley Helen Bagnall) conducted by Louise Shaw 16 May 2004. Bremner talks about her reasons for attending Auckland Teachers' College and what college life was like between 1942 and 1943. She recounts how she was the first woman who married and was allowed to continue her studying at the college.

Interviews with Tom Brown conducted by Sally Stainton 11 and 13 August 2003. Brown reflects on his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1944-45. He taught in both rural and urban schools, later becoming a school principal. He became Founding President of the New Zealand Principal's Federation in 1982 and in 1985 was awarded the MBE for services to education.
