Scope and Contents
The memorial book commemorates honoured members of the Auckland Branch of the Federation of University Women. For each honoured member there is a short biography outlining their life, academic achievements and association with the Federation. The original biographies were written by other members of the Federation and then written into the book by skilled calligraphers. In addition to the beautiful calligraphy some early entries are accompanied by small sketches.
The book itself with its blue leather binding and gold tooled details was made at the national Library of Wales in 1955.
