Letters to the people of South Africa from citizens of Auckland and citizens of Dunedin to the South African Rugby Board Museum.
Scope and Contents
Collection consists of a copy of an open letter addressed to the Government and people of South Africa, for presentation to the Manager of the Springbok team and a petition calling on Dr Claasen, team manager, to give South Africans an "honest record" of New Zealand's view of the tour by placing the volume in the South African Rugby Board's Museum.
The volume is accompanied by two letters relating to the issue.

Rebecca Hanify is an Auckland resident who collected the signatures of citizens opposed to the 1981 Springbok Tour of New Zealand as a personal protest against apartheid.
