In 1930 Beckerleg canvassed a scheme to assist individuals to buy their own home, and another for the co-operative purchase of cars (with Sir William Morris) in the United Kingdom and in New Zealand. Items listed here include descriptions of these schemes, correspondence with prominent people concerning their possible promulgation in the United Kingdom and information about group housing projects and building societies in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
The material was originally contained in one large wallet and labelled D. & E. Organisation, Building Societies N.Z. & U.K. and Correspondence etc.
