Dr Alexandra Warnock (1903 – 1986) Highly respected Auckland Anaesthetist Dr Alexandra Warnock was an Auckland Branch committee member from 1929 to 1933, Vice President from 1934- 1938, and President in 1939 reverting to Vice President in 1940. During her time as President the Branch planned a refugee scheme to bring displaced women graduates from Europe to New Zealand. These degrees were donated to the Auckland Branch Archives by the nephew of Alexandra Warnock; Richard Hoyle.
