This subseries contains a set of oral histories recorded during the early 1990s by Branch Archivist, Margaret Gapes and others. The 11 cassettes contain interviews with past presidents of the Auckland Branch and other distinguished members. During the interviews the women discuss their association with the NZFUW, including attendance at various functions; other Branch members, and attending FUW conferences in New Zealand and overseas. Copies of these interviews are also held in the Oral History section of the Alexander Turnbull Library, Wellington.
