This series contains papers relating to the work of the Public Affairs Committee (PAC). The files listed here are often those created by the PAC Convenor and cover the period 1950 to 2000. The files contain correspondence, copies of Government bills and legislation, leaflets, newspaper clippings, working notes, surveys, and copies of finished submissions and reports. The files are organised in chronological order and reflect the work undertaken by the PAC each year. Sometimes the committee’s interest in a particular topic continued for longer than a year and material relating that topic can be found in more than one file. These PAC files also reflect the links between the Federation and other organisations including the National Council of Women, the YWCA and Pan-Pacific and South-East Asia Women's Association (PPSEAWA). Listed at the end of this series are folders containing newsletters from these organisations and reports from Auckland Branch delegates.
