Biographies of members of F.U.W. Auckland Branch, compiled by Margaret Gapes, 1992., 1992 - 1992

The bulk of this collection comprises the minutes of the Auckland Branch of the NZFUW from its formation in the 1920s until 1996. The first executive minute book includes the 1920 by-laws of the International Federation and a list of Branch members for 1920-1923. Accompanying the minute books is a roll book of members’ names and addresses and places of work covering the period 1924-1926, and two sets of membership cards compiled between 1953 and 1972. There is also a copy of the printed capping programme for 1893, which includes a list of graduates and a scrapbook or clippings book covering the period 1920 to 1970. The scrapbook contains programmes, invitations, photographs, newspaper clippings and other ephemera which document Branch, NZFUW and IFUW activities.
