S. M. Mead, reasearch notebooks for museum visits to Otago, Taranaki and Whanganui., 1970 - 1971

The Photographic Archive room in the Department of Anthropology (Human Sciences Building) contained 10 boxes clearly marked “miscellaneous”, as well as various bundles of assorted material loose on shelves. This included administrative material which has been incorporated into Series 1, while the remainder remains as Series 3: Unprocessed material.

These boxes and bundles contained prints, negatives, slides, reports, field notes and documentation which were either work in progress, or un-accessioned donations.

The material has been divided into four parts based on format: negatives and slides; prints; documentation; and albums and reports.
