Scope and Contents
Tom McLennan interviews conducted by Richard Thompson 7 August 2001 and 26 September 2001. McLennan talks about his student days at the Auckland Teachers' Training College in 1942 and 1943 and then teaching in both country and city schools as well as working at the Waiouru army camp. The interviews also cover his time at Auckland Teachers' College as a lecturer, involvement with the New Zealand Educational Institute and being an elected member of the Auckland Education Board.
