Scope and Contents
Peter Smith interview conducted by Louise Shaw September 2004. Smith talks about being a student at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1943-1945 and subsequently joining Gordon Tovey's art advisory team. He talks also about returning to the college as an Art lecturer in 1953 before his appointment as a teaching inspector and involvement in the amalgamation of the primary and secondary colleges in the mid 1980s.
