Alix Wiren (née McIndoe) interview conducted by Judy Baird April 2002. Wiren recalls her time as a lecturer and women's warden at the Auckland Teachers' College. She talks about the standards of behaviour, dress and college life from a staff member's point of view.

Dennis McGrath interview conducted by Judy Baird September 2003. McGrath recounts his own education, his decision to become a secondary teacher and attending Auckland Teachers' College in 1960 and 1961. He also talks about his return to the college as Principal Lecturer, Secondary College and eventual appointment as Principal of the Auckland College of Education.

Interview with Ian Hall conducted by Judy Baird March 2004. Hall recalls about his own schooling, his decision to apply for teaching and being a student at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1939 and 1940. He recounts his secondary school teaching and later, lecturering at North Shore Teachers' College from 1966 to 1979.

Tait talks about being a student at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1935 and 1936, recalling her first impressions of the college, the lecturers, and college social activities. She also reflects on how the teachers' college influenced her professional practice as a school teacher.

Interview with Maurice Hutchinson conducted by Judy Baird 5 September 2002. Hutchinson recalls his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1936 and 1937. He reflects on his teaching career being interupted by war service and subsequent post-war secondary teaching before joining the Teaching Inspectorate.

Roy Sanders interview conducted by Judy Baird May 2005. Sanders talks about being a student at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1936 and 1937. He recalls the lecturers and college life, such as taking part in theatre productions . He also recalls his teaching experiences including teaching on Pitcairn Island.

Interview with Stuart Manins conducted by Judy Baird July 2002. Manins talks about his one-year graduate's course at Auckland Teachers' College in 1955. Stuart recalls his time teaching music in New Zealand schools before becoming a staff member at the North Shore Teachers' College, and then at Auckland College of Education as Head of the Department of Music.

Interview with Emeritus Professor Warwick Elley conducted by Judy Baird July 2003. Emeritus Professor Elley talks about his student days at the Auckland Teachers' College in 1949 and 1950. He also recalls his primary, secondary, and tertiary teaching experiences and being able to work in full-time research.
