Scope and Contents The earliest item in this collection is a minute book, 1957-60, headed Meetings called by the Society of Friends, Auckland, to decide upon an organisation for dealing with H-bomb protests. The organisation becomes the Movement Against Further Testing, Manufacture and Use of Nuclear Weapons. A collection of leaflets, notices of meetings, posters and photographs of marches. Includes minutes, handwritten and in typescript, from 1967-1970; and four slides used in Auckland cinemas to advertise a Hiroshima Day march in 1968.
