Ethnomusicology

Scope and Contents Collection comprises field notes, correspondence, research paper proofs, transcriptions of songs and chants, maps and island histories relating to the ethnography and ethnomusicology of Samoa, Cook Islands, Lau, Tonga, Niue and Hawaii. The collection also includes the transcriptions and translations of folk tales and a collection of photographs, negatives and film footage taken by Moyle during his fieldwork, and a small amount of collected ephemera.
