Robin Hyde's poetry manuscripts at The University of Auckland Library 1962- 1996 From the Collection: 1939-1952 Robin Hyde died in London 23 August 1939, aged 33. The papers she had taken with her to England, and others accumulated during her travels were returned to her family in Wellington, among them many of the poetry manuscripts that form the present collection.
