Some maps have markings indicating they belonging to the Department of History and are most likely part of a collection of maps transferred to the Te Tumu Herenga | Libraries and Learning Services Map Collection in 2014 when the Department of History moved from Wynyard to Short Street.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Transferred to Special Collections from the Map Collection in July 2023.
