Biographical / Historical
Professor Michele Leggott is an award-winning poet, academic, essayist, and a great user of archives who has worked extensively with Special Collections holdings of Hyde’s poetry manuscripts. She was also one of the experts who in 2020 supported the Alexander Turnbull Library and Special Collections' successful nomination to have Robin Hyde’s literary papers added to the New Zealand UNESCO Memory of the World Register.
