Scope and Contents This extensive collection was deposited in the University of Auckland Library in October 1990 by the Trustees of Judge Acheson's estate. Te Puea Herangi diary.

Scope and Contents

The diary, 31 December 1929 to 8 January 1931, relates to the working of "land owned by Henare Kaihau's children at the request of A. Ngata" by a party under the direction of Princess Te Puea. The scheme fell through and after a year they moved off the land, which was near Waiuku. English translation of Maori original.
