Formally transferred by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office to the University Library on 9 October 2002.
Existence and Location of Originals
Unknown. This copy was microfilmed by the Western Pacific Archives in Suva in 1969 and found with other microfilms transferred with the Western Pacific Archives to the University of Auckland Library in 2002. Although registration of births, deaths and marriages was a responsibility of the High Commissioner, none of the original registers was located with the archives transferred from the UK, and their current location is unknown.
