A selection of fine printing from Robin Lush's personal collection of work produced on the Elam letter-presses.
All items were originally provided for a reunion display to mark the 125th anniversary of Elam School of Fine Art organised by alumni from the 1960s and 1970s.

Biographical / Historical
Robin Lush trained as a printer with Robery Lowry in the 1940s and worked at the Pilgrim Press in Airedale Street. In 1964 he took on an additional part-time role offering technical expertise to the students at Elam two nights a week.
In 1972 Robin became the first, full-time print technician and held the position until his retirement in 1994. During this time he was instrumental in establishing the Elam Fine Print Research Unit (EFAPRU) with John B. Turner, which opperated from 1986 through to its disestablishment in 1994.
