Scope and Contents
In addition to the regular shows organised by the gallery Snaps also operated a "stock bin" service. For a nominal fee artists could add their prints to the stock bin where they would be held and made available on a sale-or-return basis. When the Gallery closed the contents of the stock bin were deposited in the Fine Arts Library along with the rest of the gallery's records.
Where possible the artists represented in this series have been contacted and their permission to retain these prints in the collection obtained.
