Biographical / Historical
Auckland Electric Power Board (AEPB) was established in 1922. In 1992, following the Energy Companies Act which corporatised energy supply, generation and distribution in New Zealand, AEPB became Mercury Energy Limited, owned by Auckland Energy Consumer Trust (AECT).
