Scope and Contents From the Series:

This series contains newsletters, leaflets, booklets and ephemera pertaining to overseas communist parties. Included here is material collected by McAra's while attending various overseas communist party conferences and a large body of material related to activities of the Australian Communist Party collected by Oliver Gregory who spent time in Australia during the late 1940s.

Scope and Contents From the Series:

This series comprises papers relating to a range of organisations not covered individually in earlier series. The papers have been arranged in roughly alphabetically order by the title of the organisation and include leaflets, newsletters and bulletins, conference papers and ephemera. Much of the material in this series can be attributed to Oliver B.Y. Gregory’s activities rather than those of McAra, where this is the case it has been indicated in the item description.

Scope and Contents From the Series: The material in this series comprises printed and cyclostyled bulletins, leaflets and newsletters produced by the Communist Party of New Zealand. These files may have been compiled by the National Office of the CPNZ as a set of reference copies. Certainly many of the leaflets and bulletins have date stamps noting when they were received by National Office while others have been annotated with comments regarding their content and print quality.
