Scope and Contents From the Collection: The papers of Waerete Norman were donated in two batches to the University of Auckland Library in 2002 and 2005. Notes by Rose Leaman which accompanied the 2002 batch stated that ‘most boxes contain mixtures of topics – unsorted – occasionally there will be like material together’. This describes well the overall state of the collection prior to arrangement and description and explains why it has been necessary to create artificial series.
